Problem

I can't hear the other participants, but my microphone works fine. How can I solve this problem?

Cause

Audio Output Settings: Check the audio output settings in your video conferencing software and operating system to ensure the correct audio device is selected and the volume is set appropriately.

Speakers or Headphones: Make sure your speakers or headphones are properly connected and working by testing them with other applications.

Mute: Check if the other participants are accidentally muted and turned off their microphone during the conference.

Network Issues: Unstable internet connection or packet loss may result in missing audio. Make sure your network connection is stable and test alternative connections to rule out problems.

Conference software: Check if your video conferencing software is up to date and if there are any updates. Also check the audio settings in the software.

Firewall or security settings: Check your firewall settings to ensure video conferencing software can access the network.

Solution

Make sure your audio playback device is set correctly in the video conferencing tool settings. If that doesn't work, try checking your microphone or sound card, or restart your device.
