Background noises

Problem

There is background noise or interference during the call. How can I reduce the background noise?

Cause

Ambient noise: Background noise in your environment can be picked up and transmitted by your microphone. Try to stay in a quiet environment.

Microphone Quality: A poor quality or damaged microphone may cause interference or noise during the call. Check the microphone settings and make sure the microphone is working properly.

Internet connection: An unstable or slow internet connection may cause disruptions during the call. Check your internet connection speed.

Interference: Electronic devices near the microphone or speaker may cause electromagnetic interference. Keep other electronic devices away from the microphone and speaker.

Echo Cancellation: An improperly configured echo detection or echo cancellation system can result in background noise or interference. Check the audio settings and make sure the echo cancellation is working properly.

Software Issues: Calling software incompatibilities or bugs may cause background noise or interference. Use the latest version of the software and check for updates.

Solution

To reduce background noise or interference, make sure you're in a quiet place, mute your microphone when not speaking, or use noise-cancelling microphones or headphones.
