Release notes​

Noteworthy changes​

  • When running a single OpenTalk-Controller node, the Redis service is no longer mandatory. If configured accordingly, all session data is stored in memory instead of Redis, increasing performance. For clustered operation, Redis is still necessary. The session data documentation section has been adjusted accordingly.
  • Janus media bridge can now be connected through either RabbitMQ or Websocket. In the past this connection was only possible through RabbitMQ. The RabbitMQ service is still required for other connections such as the Mailer or the Recorder. For information about the necessary configuration changes, see the Janus connection configuration documentation.
