Release notes​

Noteworthy changes​

  • Meeting details such as the invite link can be shown to the users during the conference. This must be turned on for every event in the dashboard.
  • Participants can be sent to the waiting room by moderators.

Known issues​

We are working on a 24.8.1 patch release that fixes the known issues listed below.

Issues when deleting events​

We restructured deletion endpoints, and bad timing of the merges caused inconsistent implementation, resulting in these problems:

  • Deletion of events with assets inside fails with 409 CONFLICT HTTP error code.
  • Deletion of an event through the popup dialog at the end of a meeting fails silently with a 404 NOT FOUND HTTP error code, but the frontend tells it successfully deleted the event.

Error reporting UI elements​

  • The UI elements for reporting errors in the frontend are always visible, even if the error reporting feature is disabled per configuration.
